Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking 2 x Registered Nurses to join a private hospital in Auckland on a permanent contract with fixed hours.

In Aged Care, we cover various settings including residential, hospital, and dementia care. Supporting our elderly community is central to our mission, ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care they deserve.

About our client: The facility is a 35-bed private hospital offering long-term and respite care.

About the role: As a Registered Nurse at this facility, each day will bring new challenges and rewards. You’ll play a pivotal role in making a positive impact on someone’s day. The work is meaningful and fulfilling, supported by a welcoming team that becomes like family. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of dedicated Caregivers
  • Developing and monitoring care plans
  • Conducting clinical assessments
  • Building lasting relationships with residents, families, and medical professionals
  • Supporting Clinical Services and Care Home Managers

Skills & Experience Required:

  • NZQA level 7 qualification (e.g., bachelor’s degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma)
  • Current Practicing Certificate
  • Legal right to work in NZ
  • Flexibility to work different shifts
  • Strong leadership, integrity, and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Experience in Palliative Care, Dementia, and InterRAI preferred but not essential
