Skills and Experience:

• Current APHRA Registration
• New Graduate and Experienced Nurses accepted.
• Proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.
• Ability and commitment to working as part of the team.
• Demonstrated high level of analytical, written and verbal skills.

Role Summary:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to elderly residents in a compassionate manner.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and condition, identifying any changes or concerns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care delivery.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.
• Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing aged care nursing practice.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
