Our client, public facility in Western NSW is seeking a skilled and experienced Health Service Manager to join their team.
As the Nurse Manager Grade 5, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality clinical services within our facility.
- Position: Health Service Manager- Nurse Manager Grade 5
Location: MPS facility in Western NSW
- Full Time, 6months contract starting ASAP

Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise staff to ensure safe and appropriate care that meets professional standards.
- Develop operational plans and monitor facility services to optimize service delivery within budget constraints.
- Manage workforce allocation and utilization to support safe, high-quality clinical services.
- Initiate and uphold policies and professional standards to ensure safe and evidence-based practice.
- Provide leadership to enable the delivery of high-quality clinical services through direction, support, and ongoing evaluation.

- Monitoring clinical services and activity to manage resources effectively.
- Building a positive professional culture in a changing environment.
- Maintaining effective communication and working relationships.
- Balancing budgetary, service, and human resource requirements.
Selection Criteria:
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and relevant postgraduate qualifications in management.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- Knowledge of contemporary professional and operational facility management.
- Ability to facilitate professional standards and competence.
- Skills in managing workforce requirements within industrial frameworks.
- Highly developed IT, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead policy and practice development.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a senior management team.
