Our client is one of the largest providers of Aged Care Services in Aotearoa and have prided themselves for many years on providing a tailored approach to care for each individual, whilst maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all, across all locations.
The opportunity
A great opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager to work in a well-resourced 48-bed care-home in the lovely Palmerston North, who provide Rest Home, Hospital, Day Programme, Respite, and Palliative Care.
The primary function of your role will be to supervise, lead, and support the clinical team and support staff, whilst managing the day to day running of the facility, including oversight of the financial and budgeting aspects of the care home.
Skills and Experience
Registered Nurse with experience working within Aged Care in NZ with current APC
3 + years’ experience working within Residential Aged Care setting in a leadership role
Sound knowledge of the NZ Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills
Previous Financial Management and Budgeting experience
Enthusiasm, drive, and a desire to be successful in this role
A passion for Aged Care and a desire to make a difference to the lives of Residents
