Anaesthetic Nurse – Perioperative service department

The hospital encompasses 154 beds, 6 operating theatres, 10 bed ICU, 8 chair medical oncology unit, and associated rehabilitation, medical, surgical, mental health, and consulting services.
- Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing or Anaesthetics (desired but not essential).
- Proven experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse in a hospital or surgical setting.
- Sound knowledge of anesthesia principles, medications, and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Current BLS and ALS
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
