Sonographer

About the Role:

As the sole sonographer, you will be collaborating with a dedicated team of three midwives, one of whom is the manager you will report to. You will also collaborate with part-time staff, including an obstetrician, counsellors, and primary health providers.  You will receive full support from obstetrician services with Te Whatu Ora. This team is deeply committed to community care, particularly for underserved populations. This recently launched hub, is a collaborative effort to address significant inequities in access to maternity care, particularly for Māori and Pacific women.

• Flexible hours and days between (Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 5 pm)
• Part-time or full-time positions available
• Salary negotiable based on experience and hours worked
• $95,000 – 142,000

What you need for this role:

• Registration with the Medical Radiation Technologist Board of New Zealand
• Valid New Zealand working rights.
• Be able to work independently without supervision
• Experience with obstetric scans will be an advantage.
